Lookin' up

So it's 1am on a Friday night. My soccer team won... 10-0 or something. We lost count. The sun has been shining all week and the weather is warm. I just submitted two applications to Google, two days before the deadline. And in three hours I have to get up and head to the airport because I'm off to Amsterdam at 6am to hang out with my cool uncle.

So though it has been a bit of a roller-coaster of a week in some ways, as always, I know everything will fall into place. And at this time tomorrow I'll have a belly full of stroop waffels. That is NEVER a bad thing!

Hi Noelle,

You don't know me but I swear I'm not a psycho stalker. I met your parents Friday night at the American Cancer Society dinner in Los Angeles. My Dad is a past President for ACS and I go along to the annual party for the booze, food, and discovery shop finds. I chatted with you Mom about everything from E-zines to blogs as the very nice waiters brought us treats. She told me about your blog and encouraged me to check it out. My parents are pushing me to go back to school, and have been for the 5 years I've been out of college. I was wondering... what led you to go with an MBA and one in Spain? You may have answered this at some point in your blog but I haven't gotten that far yet. I can't stop reading your blog! It's dangerous!

Sometimes mothers come in handy. Remember that next Mother's Day.
